Oh gosh, I’m so fxcked up now! So sorry, I promised myself I’d never use bad words again in my art comments, but I have to say it: fxck fxck fxck hahaha! I had a blast last night at my man Karim’s, but I should always remember that drinking alcohol in a hot jacuzzi ain’t a good match! Unless you wanna be drunk real fast. That’s what happened to me. The last time that “combo I should avoid” did hit me, I was in Osaka. I went to a club with my brother and paid for an all-you-can-drink joint (飲み放題). When we left, we were hungry as hell and decided to grab some yakitori in a small izakaya. But I don’t know why my bro ordered Japanese sake instead!... Well, it literally killed us and we ended up puking somewhere around Dôtonbori. When we came back home, for an unknown reason, we decided to go to the public bath. And of course, because of the warmth, the alcohol striked back and we were fxcked up for real once again. These are some of my amazing aventures.

Anyway, I told you about Karim. It’s a good coincidence since he’s a very big fan of Star Wars. Me too, I do admit. I’m not the type of person who knows everything about George Lucas’ universe, but I do like the 6 movies. And come on, being a Jedi must be the shxt isn’t it???? I’m a huge fan of Obi-Wan Kenobi in fact, especially in episodes I, II and III. Ewan McGregor’s performance is amazing, plus it’s a real pleasure to see a young Obi-Wan light sabering some ass. I hope I’ll have the occasion to draw Obi-Wan as a youngster anytime soon.

I watched all the episodes not long ago and it turned me into a Jedi. I wish it was the case hehe. It just motivated me to draw a Star Wars fanart. And another good coincidence: deviantArt organized a “Draw This Again” contest. Since I already did a Star Wars art years ago, it was the occasion to do an updated version. You can see the original version here: [link]. It was also a way to see if my skills improved with time. I think it’s the case . I just added Princess Leia in the middle of the pic. Some people told me I drew her with very big boobs. Yes I did. I love them, end of discussion. Since it’s my reinterpretation of Star Wars with my manga style, I have the right to do whatever I want right? So If I wanna draw Leia with big boobs, just let me draw her with big boobs.

It’s amazing how I always find ways to talk about boobs and that kind of stuffs (-_-. I’m deeply sorry. Anyway, that art name is “A New Hope” since it inspires of Star Wars Episode IV. I wanted to draw Han Solo and Chewbacca as well, but that would be too much. The best solution was to draw the Millennium Falcon, so Han and Chewie are there as well in a certain way…

I think I finally start to find my very own style, especially in coloring with Photoshop. I’m into digital art for 4 years already, but do not forget I have a whole background as a traditional drawer before that. So it’s always kinda new to me. I’m used to Photoshop but I’m fascinated by all its possibilities. They’re quite infinite. So I’m always getting better in trying stuffs and of course having fun. I think it’s important to start with straight traditional art before trying anything with digital art.

Argh, I already wrote too many things!!!! So sorry! But I know nobody reads my art comments hahaha!
