To be honest with you, I never heard of Santa Ana's rapper Boogie Kat. In fact, I did that art because of a French friend of mine, Oliv'. Oliv' told me that Boogie Kat was his dude and that Kat's wife, Lorena, died some months ago. It meant a lot for Kat since this joint talks bout the loss of his wife and how much he loved her. That's how Boogie Kat alongside Oliv' decided to drop the song "Unforgettable" as a single. Oliv' asked other artists (I might even say friends) such as American singer Enois Scroggins, Swiss beatmaker ChromatikS and French beatmaker Wadz to join their efforts to support Boogie Kat's idea. Oliv' contacted me as well and that's how I became a part of this project, as the drawer. I've been really moved and touched by it, plus the song's beautiful.

I wanted to draw something simple without anything related to street life. I find pretty difficult to draw moving scenes, you know, with a deep feeling and all that. I just put Boogie Kat on a blue background to highlight his loneliness. The strange shadow in the background is Santa Ana's water tower, Kat wanted it on the pic to symbolize his city. I really hope he's doing better right now. I wish him the best.

And for those who don't know, I already worked with ChromatikS, Oliv' and Enois Scroggins in the past: it was on ChromatikS' album "À la Conquête de l'West". It was a great and funny experience, maybe one of the best since the album was sold in Japan and Taiwan! I was really happy to work with them once again. Always a pleasure .

And last but not least, all the benefits of this single will be donated to the school of Boogie Kat and Lorena's daughter. Here's another good reason to support this project , thank you so much !
